If you go to Thornley's official website and go to the BIOGRAPHY, it no longer lists Sekou or Ken as Band members...
This is so not good!

Well Not2Shabby for the Thornleyfans site wrote this:
I got this email today from sekou the man himself in reply to my email last night,
It's quite true Daniel, Kenny and I are no longer in the band. Things were getting pretty strained over the last few months, so we had a conversation about the future of Thornley. In the end the best thing for all of us was to part ways. We both wish Ian and tavis the best of luck, as well as the guys replacing us. Take care.

hey there i heard a rumor from my guitar teacher from mark, one of the members of hurst that you and ken both left the band? if so thats too bad to hear, is there a project you're in now then that we can hear u play in still? and also is there any reason u left the band if u did that is?
If this is true, I really wish Ken would fill us in, most of us here have been behind him for many years, we shouldnt be left in the dark. Not saying he owes us anything or anything like that, just would be cool I guess...

Hmmm... So Redline does two shows and calls it quits; Daniel & Rob go their seperate ways after one album and a handful of openers; and now Ken leaves Thornley. Only one outcome seems logical to me.

Hey RAF, I thought the exact same thing over at the Dearly Beloved message board....This is what i wrote....
Seeing that Danny Greaves is no longer in a band, Ken Tizzard is no longer in a band and Joey Serlin is no longer in a band and maybe they get out there and find Sammy Kohn, could we ever hope for the re-uniting of THE WATCHMEN....I get butterflies just thinking about that possibility....I'm keeping my fingers crossed....

LOL, I thought the same thing today. If they are all between jobs, why not a Watchmen Reunion. Fack, that would rock. Seriously, that would make me soooo happy...

What i meant by Legal issues, was that i understand that A comment may not be made because of legal agreements made by any of the partys involved. It's all good. I have my answers. Oaf. Gotcha. It seems all the answers are right in this thread. Whelp, best of luck to all the guys no matter what then.

Man... you do realize that him answering either "no comment" or "stay tuned..." when you have publicly outlined the implications of either answer would've carried the same liability as him outright saying it... right? maybe they get out there and find Sammy Kohn Well... if Sammy can't make it, a few people seemed to think I bore a resemblance to him. I could take his place if they don't mind me sitting off in a corner with a cheep drum-machine in my lap. ;D

Over the past 2 years, I've had to say goodbye to many bands...Big Sugar, The Watchmen, Doctor, Redline and now the Original Thornley....So I guess the logical things to do would be to start over with what worked...
Wishful thinking???

Once again I have been a little quiet of late. The simple fact is that at the next Thornley show there will be a different bass player on stage. I can only speak for myself here and as far as the future of Thornley goes I cannot really say. I wish the guys all the best but it is time for a change. I have been working on some new music and hope to be out and about before too long. I am going to spend some time doing sessions for bands as well as short tours here and there. I want to say thanks to everybody on the board here - you have all made this community a fantastic place to be. Hopefully in the next few months I will have the time to dedicate some attention to this place, drop in a few changes as well as revamp the overall feel of the site. Thanks for being so patient.
cheers

Thanks Ken. These past few days gone by have been a bit of a mystery. We're sorry if some of the member's demands for answers were overkill. I'm sure that no malice was intended. Thanks for taking the time to touchdown and letting us know how you plan to move ahead. Knowing how you use the bass as a tool of expression beyond conventional electric bass playing, it sure sounds like happy endings to me. It makes me want to get off my back side and be more creative myself.
