Okay... are we talking about "prima-donna flair" or a "prima-donna flare"?? They do imply different things.

I guess my point being for adding to this thread is that I believe Ian and as above mentioned pissy pants are the ones that are responsible for Ken and company leaving...but thats only my opinion (its means nothing to the truth)

All truth's aside - let us respect everybody's opinion and if we are talking about rumors lets keep it all at that. Everybody can have their own slant. In my humble opinion I am writing this from a spaceship that has abducted Sekou and myself and this is the reason for the replacement. Onwards and Upwards.

LOL, good one Ken. One thing I have learnt in talking to Ken is that he is a very humble respectful person, so even if it was due to "Pissy-pantyness" that led to his departure ( Which, if I were a betting man, I would put my dollar on) there is no way that he would admit that ( especially in a open forum enviroment like this one). The truth may be revealed eventually ( after all, doesnt it always All come out in the wash?) But for now all we can do is wonder.

( ain't there a "u" in rumour?) Don'tcha know yous Canadians are silly, eh? (working on my Canadian accent ) I've always wondered why Canadians always add "u's" to their words and then switch around the "e's" and "r's" Hope you boys had fun drinking last night...Neal, I'll be emailing you shortly think I found the address... well the less he says about it, the more it makes me think he wants to unload his baggage, fans included

...my thought about "the rumor" ( ain't there a "u" in rumour?)... ...what we read and see in any media thats made available is not the true chracter of a man.... Cheers Ain't there another "a" in character? Laura, our spelling is British. It came first. We're right. You're wrong. dotdot, I'm sure Ken has an outlet for unloading his baggage. I'd love to know the whole story too but that will likely never happen. RAF

Neal, I'll be emailing you shortly think I found the address... The address on the disc is correct. Just make sure it's suite 603. well the less he says about it, the more it makes me think he wants to unload his baggage, fans included I disagree and I'm not sure what sort of answer would be satisfactory to someone who feels that way. Even if the break-up was because Ian turned out to be some sort of gangly green monster , it would be unprofessional (and potentially libelous) for someone to discuss it in public. As Reil demonstrated, everyone is entitled to their opinion. It was bound to come up. I'm just glad that he warned me last night. Having said that, I don't think that we're owed any personal details on what led to this split. As a matter of fact, I'm more pumped about Ken's solo work than I was about Thornley. Clever mainstream rock is great but hearing innovation is what really feeds me.

RAF, yes I stand corrected, one of my character flaws has always been my spelling...thank you for that.
God Speed Ken on you and Sekou's journey.

I know it was likely just a typo but I couldn't resist pointing out the irony of a spelling mistake after you commented on someone else's spelling.

I'm going to have to go with Neal on this one. If Ken wanted us to know then we would. It's none of our business, and I'm not going to speculate[gossip] about something that has nothing to do with me. It's like walking up to a personal conversation between other people that you don't know very well if not at all and expect to be let in on it. I think it's rude and thoughtless. These are peoples lives. Have some respect. I think theres nothing worse than an uninformed opinion.

In all honesty the fact that a band's life is public, sort of does allow people to have an opinion. When you live your life in the public eye you have to be able to accept that you are in some sort a public commodity. All the speculation and rumors are just a part of it all. In fact I am sure that my story differs from the other people who are in fact involved. What is the truth - who really knows? No offense taken either way.

i'm glad you feel that way ken. you seem to handle it well. i probably couldn't as well. artists tend to be on the sensitive side, i could see why they'd wanted to be surrounded by positivity all the time, but too much of a good thing can be bad. i see not as a confrontation but a discussion/dialogue. it only escalates when one side refuses to participate in a healthy way (or at all). i'm not perfect at it by no means. catch me when i'm hungry, angry, lonely, and/or tired, and i'll show you

Well put Ken, it's odd how being behind the scenes one can pick up on certian attributes of a man...and you are the man Ken...all will be well
